It’s no secret that gasoline prices are high right now. During hard times nationwide, worldwide and even in smaller communities it’s important that we help one another out and do our best to provide for people that truly need it. Here at THE DROP 104.7, we are The People’s Station and strive to serve our community the best way can.
Rod Wave helped out his community in St. Petersburg, Florida on April 9th, by paying $50 worth of gas up to $25,000 for anyone that showed up at the gas station he was at that day. This shows that a little bit extra especially from those who have the means to do so can really help out a lot of people. It’s inspiring to see selfless acts like these displayed in people of influence. Giving back to our communities is extremely important, especially during hard times when many cannot afford to fill up their gas tanks like they used to.
